This course covers an introduction and overview of the hospitality and tourism industry, the various sectors of the hospitality and tourism industry, the unique characteristics of products in the hospitality and tourism industry, the three major categories of stakeholders’ linkages in the hospitality and tourism industry, the dynamic growth of the lodging sector: Hotels and Resorts, the highly competitive food and beverage sector, and job and career opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry.
